Program 13:30 – Introduction to the history and craftsmanship of the Kigata Banko teapot technique at the atelier of Haruka Matsuo, the ninth-generation successor of the Kigata Banko tradition. 14:00–14:15 – Introduction to the history and philosophy of the Ōbaku Baisa Ryū school of Sencha. 14:15–15:00 – Sencha tea ceremony in the Ōbaku Baisa Ryū tradition at the Naardermeer Tea Hut. 15:00–15:30 – Introduction to the art project Tea Tree, Tea Treaty – Naardermeer Tea Hut, followed by questions and discussion.
