Professional Kimono master Mamiko Sugiyama will guide you into the world of Kimono. Mamiko Sugiyama is a highly skilled professional Kimono dressing instructor. She also assists with Kimono dressing for formal receptions at the Japanese Embassy and is regarded as one of the leading Kimono dressing instructors in the Netherlands. Basic Kimono Course The Basic Kimono Course consists of six lessons. By the end of the course, you will: -Learn about the essential Kimono accessories and equipment -Understand how to choose a Kimono that suits you -Learn how to tie a formal Fukuro Obi -Gain fundamental knowledge of Kimono culture and dressing techniques This course will open the door to wearing Kimono more casually and confidently, allowing you to enjoy Kimono more often in everyday life. Course Fee Total fee: €525 for the 6-week course Optional Purchases & Rental Fees Students taking the course are required to prepare their own Juban and Tabi. If you do not already have them, a Juban and Tabi set can be purchased for €75.
