• Including Gyokuro tea and eating a traditional Japanese delicacy.

At first, you will experience a Japanese Sencha tea ceremony at the tea room 'Gooische theehut'. 

Tea master Souran Matsuo (Haruka Matsuo) is the first official Sencha tea ceremony master in the Netherlands (or even the EU), offering the Oubaku Baisa ryu tea ceremony.

In the workshop, you will learn the proper amount of tea leaves and the temperature of the water so that you can serve yourself a delicious cup of tea at home. 

Eventualy If you attend and master the three different courses - spring and autumn gyokuro (April, May, September and October), Reisen /summer cold  (June-July) and Susuri cha / winter sip tea (November-March) - you can obtain a officeial certificate as a 'chashi' (tea master) in Ouhbaku Baisa tea ceremony school if you wish. (An additional fee is required to obtain the licence.)
